ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 16 years of age
- Must have a negative PPD reading or normal chest x-ray (that cannot be more than 12 months old at the time of clinical rotations) and MUST have proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (most clinical sites will also require a booster if you are due for one)
- Have a high school diploma or its equivalent or comprehend on a 10th-grade level
- Pass a basic English pre-entrance exam with an 80% score
- Must have a satisfactory Criminal Background check through the CORI system before the 1st day of class
- Must have proof of personal health insurance (requested but not required)
- Provide a valid government-issued picture ID (Passport, ID Card, Driver’s License, etc.)
- Have an American Heart Association CPR/BLS Certificate by the end of the 2nd week of class
ADMISSION PROCESS
- Must pay a $43.50 non-refundable administrative cost and 50% of the tuition ($750.00) at the time of enrollment
- Complete the pre-entrance quiz and score 80%
- Complete the school application package
- Sign an enrollment agreement, school policies, and procedures, provide all supporting documentation and buy your textbooks and supplies
